Community Education is seeking members for the Community Education Advisory Council. Members provide valuable input and feedback from the community perspective to advise staff on the development of the department. Of specific interest would be adding members that would help the Advisory Council to be representative of the entire School District. Special accommodations are available for youth membership. The Advisory Council currently meets on the first Wednesday of the month from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at Lakeville South High School.

The purpose of the Lakeville Area Public Schools Community Education Advisory Council is to serve in an advisory capacity to the Community Education Department and the Director of Community Education in the fulfillment of the Department Mission.
"Community Education is a lifelong learning and community action program serving the citizens of the Independent School District #194 community."
Meetings of the Community Education Advisory Council are generally held on the first or third Thursday of the month from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at Lakeville South High School, Community Room. As meeting dates, times and locations are subject to change please call 952-232-2150 to confirm meetings before attending.
